Every dream begins with a conversation. Ours began on a quiet afternoon, amidst endless discussions, overflowing cups of tea, and a shared longing to create something extraordinary - something that would outlive us, touch lives, and become a sanctuary for those seeking a pause from the relentless pace of modern living.

In Wadhane, Bhor - where emerald hills kiss the horizon, pristine lakes mirror the changing skies, and sunsets paint poetry across the landscape - we discovered 1.25 acres of untouched beauty. What many saw as a remote piece of land, we saw as possibility.

On 30th January 2023, three dreamers embarked on a journey that would transform not only a piece of land, but a vision into reality. The destination you see today was never merely intended to be a resort. It was envisioned as an experience - a place where luxury and wilderness exist in perfect harmony.

Every path, tent, light, and experience was curated through sleepless nights and weekends away from loved ones. When you stay here, you experience a labour of love that refused to give up.

Families, couples, friends, and pets - we built Lemon Leaf to be the sanctuary we ourselves longed for. A place to disconnect from noise and reconnect with what truly matters.

Three Founders. One Shared Dream.

United by friendship and a longing to create something extraordinary - here are the three people who gave up their weekends, holidays, and sleepless nights to build Lemon Leaf Resort.

Amol Patil

Founder and Director

One of the three dreamers who sat down on 30th January 2023 with an idea and the determination to see it through. Amol helped carry this vision from endless cups of tea and conversations to the resort you see today - through every obstacle, every delay, and every difficult afternoon on that piece of land.

Harish Nair

Founder and Director

Harish brought to Lemon Leaf a belief that a great escape should touch lives, not just fill a calendar slot. He was part of every debate, every plan drawn up beneath that bamboo tree, and every decision that shaped the guest experience - from thoughtfully curated meals to bonfire nights under the stars.

Prasoon believed that this place deserved to exist - and when obstacles seemed larger than the dream, that belief kept the team going. He played an integral part in building a destination where every corner, every light, and every experience was designed with intentionality and passion.

The Dream Takes Root

Three friends sit down amidst endless discussions and overflowing cups of tea, united by a shared longing to create a sanctuary for those seeking a pause from modern living. The journey of Lemon Leaf Resort officially begins.

2023

1.25 Acres of Possibility

In the enchanting village of Wadhane, Bhor - where emerald hills kiss the horizon and pristine lakes mirror the sky - the founders discover 1.25 acres of untouched land. What others saw as remote, they saw as everything.

2023 – 2025

The Bamboo Tree Boardroom

With no café, no shelter, and no comfort - the founders would carry meals from home and spend entire days on the land. An old bamboo tree became their meeting room, dining space, and refuge. Beneath its shade, every dream was dared and every plan was drawn.

2023 – 2025

Nearly Three Years of Building

Building a luxury glamping retreat in a remote scheduled area tested determination at every turn - connectivity vanishing for hours, supplies delayed, resources scarce. Yet through every obstacle, one thing remained constant: friendship, shared purpose, and belief.

Lemon Leaf Welcomes Its First Guests

After nearly three years of relentless dedication, perseverance, and heart - Lemon Leaf Resort opened its first chapter. A labour of love, built by hands that refused to give up and hearts that dared to imagine differently.
